Part of SFXAA mission is to assist our coaches in becoming excellent coaches. We will constantly look for resources that will help with coaching formation.

Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is transforming youth sports so sports can transform youth. Since Executive Director Jim Thompson founded PCA as a non-profit within the Stanford University Athletic Department in 1998, we have helped create a positive, character-building youth sports environment for more than 3 million youth athletes.

This is great online training for coaches and parents, there is a fee but is well worth it.

PlaySportsTV is a website to help all parent-coaches who have volunteered to coach. It is convenient, easy, and an effective video-based youth sports instruction training for parents and youth coaches. SFXAA coaches receive a free subscription to PlaySport video library, check with your commissioner on how to access.

Responsible Sports program is designed for parents across ALL sports and aims to provide helpful advice and useful resources that can be applied universally among youth athletes, preschool through high school, both on and off the field.
